Just curious - as discussed elsewhere here and on the HHC site, there is a sliding scale of fines and late fees etc for non payment.
If you were not to pay and to bring this to its conclusion, what would that be?
Would you end up in jail eventually? If so, for how long and upon your release, would you be "free to go" in so far as you've served your punishment for non payment. What happens then when you dont pay again the following year?
I guess you could ask the same of the TV licence - if you eventually end up in prison for non payment, are you then clear or do they get you again next year for non payment?
As stated, I'm just curious here - I'm not looking for moral rights/wrongs.
