My ex was ordered by the courts to pay maintenance for our two children. In the last few weeks he has stopped, with no explanation. The money goes from his account to the court before being deposited into mine. All done electronically so it is very easy to keep track of. My query is: what are the consequences, if any, to him for not paying? I'd love to hear from someone who has been in the situation as what the court orders doesn't always matter.
