I've reached age 66 and Social Welfare sent me an application form for non contributory pension.
I currently have an occupational pension of €12,400 per annum [Retired civil servant on Class D prsi], less than €20,000 in savings, own bank account, no joint accounts with my husband, no property or other assets apart from our main residence.
is there any benefit in completing or applying for the non contributory pension as I feel I'm probably over the means limit?
thanks
Flo
