Nokia Bluetooth earpiece with Laptop

I have a nokia mobile phone and bluetooth earpiece/headset. Both work fine together.

I have a bluetooth enabled laptop.

I want to use the bluetooth earpiece with the laptop (Windows XP).

Do I have all the kit and software, only to figure out how to connect, or is there a piece of kit/software I need to complete the picture?

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with this. I tried it with a bluetooth dongle adapter but the sound just keeps dropping in and out every second so I can't use it. Maybe it's because the dongle is a cheepo from ebay, but not going to invest in a new one until I know for sure.
