Hi, ive wanted this phone for awhile now it was €109 now €79 wondering is it a good deal? Good Phone? I know absolutely noting about phones.
I just want a phone for texting, and maybe a few photos and i love the look of this.
Are vodafone good or cheap etc?
Could i get a new sim later and swap the fone to a Meteor sim?
How much credit do i get with it? I can't see, i do see ''€120 Free Call Credit'' but can't tell if that's for other promos.

Heres the fon on another site [broken link removed] I'm wondering why it's so cheap on the vodafone site is there a catch that i'm overlooking?
Any feedback appreciated,
Thanks:)

Hey the VF deal is prob a Xmas discount - they all start chopping prices around now.

I'm actually looking at that phone myself. Have already been dropping not-so-subtle hints!!!) :)

(Declaration of interest: BF works for VF.)

There no snags with this , it is just a xmas promo and 02 are selling it for the same price but with 90 credit

the probable reason for the price drop is that this fone is now a discontinued item from Nokia. It has been replaced.

Also just a note on the fone itself. They tend to show signs of wear and tear very quickly. The silver paint on the fone tends to peal off and the black cover scratches badly. The buttons seemed to have scratched my screen too.. Dont know how though.

I have one here and its less than a year old but looks about 10 years old. Even after two months the paint had started to peal off the silver parts and O2 refused to replace it as it was seen as general "wear and tear"

apart from that its a decent enough fone and for the price you cant go wrong (memory isnt great and cannot be upgraded)!!

Ok thanks for the heads-up RonanC, and everybody else i think im going to buy it anyway, not bad for a second phone i guess im not a heavy user anyway, i find myself going into pub telephones on the street anyway.:)
Texting is ok too, but it denotes a shy person i think, i need the phone for job application/college responses etc.. I dont want to look shy especially while applying for a job
