no water in outside tap

can someone help me please....My outside tap was perfectly fine last night. there is a hose attached to it. but tonight when I turn it on there is no water at all. All other taps are fine. there isnt even a sound of water turning on. single and worried help please judylinn

What if you remove the hose? Was it recently installed? Was there any plumbing work going on in the house recently? Or work on the water mains? Could it be an airlock (try Google for advice on how to clear an airlock)?

Try plugging the sprayer attachment into the business end of the hose. If it uses the snap-in HozeLok connecters, they automatically stop the water flow (guess how I found out?)
