No video signal

I have connected aerial co axial cable to Video INPUT, and scart from Video to TV. However, I cannot record nor get a picture on TV, through the video.

What have i done wrong?

co axial cable needs to connect to RF in or ariel in, not Video in

I worded that wong Colm.

I have it hooked up as you said, with scart then pluged into VCR and TV

Select scart input on TV....usually marked AV1.

DONE, but still no luck.

could VCR need to be retuned, as it was disconneced from TV for a while.

Do you have another RF cable to connect from RF out to RF in on TV.
That way you will know if there is any signal being picked up.
I presume you are not even getting the VCR menu up on the TV.
Have you tried another scart input?
