If I hook my laptop up to the tv using an HDMI cable and play a video in a media application I get both sound and picture on the tv.
If I go to youtube and play a video - using Mozilla Firefox - I get both sound and picture.
But if I go to youtube and play a video - using Internet Explorer - I get picture only, no sound.
I know the HDMI cable is working ok because of the first two tests above - anyone know what is different about Internet Explorer that it is transmitting picture only?
Just as an aside - if I remove the HDMI cable and reconfigure to output sound from the computer speakers - it works fine from all applications.
