No money in account bank taken from a overdraft

Hi can anyone advise me on this the bank has taken my fiance mortgage from an overdraft that he did not know he had. Will they continue to do this say he had no money to pay mortgage for say 6 months. He has wrote an asked the bank for a 6 month holiday period to see if his situation chances but have had no reply. Any advise/experience on this would be much appreciated..

I am not sure if this is the same but my Bank are taking money every month when my loan amount is due from my current account which has no money in it and is making it overdrawn. Running me into more debt.

I am not sure what the legalities of it are.

Say if I put money into that account it is gobbled up.

I asked them about it an they said the loan account is still active and will continue to take the monthly repayments even if the money is not in the account and therefore overdrawing it.

As far as I know I have never had an overdraft facility on my account. I am trying to get some legal advice on it at the moment. Will let you know what I find out.

Yea this sounds just like his situation it seems crazy as from what he was told in the bank he will be getting charged interest from both bank an mortgage for the overdraft really going hit people when they are down. Please keep[ me informed if you find out anyth else on this matter an vise versa
