No hot water and poor pressure in bathroom hot water tap?

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the hot water tap in my bathroom. The tap on the bathroom has always had poor pressure but in the past week the pressure has decreased so much that there is hardly any water at all coming from it. Am using GoldShield (I think) which is supposed to heat the water overnight and its been fine for the past two years. However the hot water tap in the bath is now barely heating at all.

Its a mixer tap.

I presumed it was an airlock but don't know how to fix it. Would anyone have any ideas or is it a job for the plumber?

If it is could anyone recommend one (south Dublin) area?

I had the same problem in with my hot bath tap last winter. Had a plumber in doing another job and he fixed it for me. He turned off the water, unscrewed the tap and used his vice-grips. That's all I know I'm afraid! Not sure if you could do it yourself but I do think it was caused by an airlock of some sort.
 
Thanks Daisybell. I called a plumber today and a new pump is needed. Approx. 800e + VAT + labour!!!!!!
