Hi,

My heating control unit (horstmann channel plus h37xl) currently has no display. The boiler isn't highlighting any issues and the fcu seems to be functioning, therefore it doesn't appear to be a fuse issue.

Can anyone help? No heating or hot water without it and not sure what to do next.

Thanks.

Most likely an issue with the control unit itself.

Are any of the trip switches tripped in the CU (Consumer Unit--like the old fuse boxes)? Is there a separate fused spur to the controller?

If all the trips/fuses are fine, then you'll need to get an electrician to confirm the controller is dead, and replace.

Thanks for your reply Leo. Trip switches and fuse in spur seem to be fine. I've called an electrician. Will let you know what outcome is.

Had to get the control unit itself replaced. The elec couldn't figure out why it stopped working. Good to have heat and hot water back. Thanks again for your help Leo.

No problem Tiv, glad you're back up and running. Most of these control panels aren't repairable, at least economically anyway, so replacement is usually best.
