Hi,
My mother is 58. Is there a 7 year bond that she can invest a 30k lump-sum in that matures when she's 65 thereby avoiding DIRT at 20%?
She's thinking Northern Rock or NIB's ECB tracker at the moment.
Info on such a DIRT avoidance strategy would be much appreciated. I'm sure Revenue have figured it all out though?
Thanks,
