I have noticed in the last few days that there is very little water - drizzle coming from teh cold water tap in the ensuite bathroom - All other taps are fine including the hot one in the ensuite
Any idea what could be wrong here

Sounds like an air-lock. I had a similar problem and fixed it by flushing it out by connecting the mains water supply from the kitchen cold tap to it with a hose pipe and appropriate connectors.
If that doesn't work, turn off the water and strip the tap; you may find, as we did recently, that the washer had partially come off the bottom and was blocking the flow.
