Hi,

I split with my partner 2yrs+ ago, but agreed to give her a couple of years to come up with the money to buy me out of the house. anyway she can't come up with the cash and is now refusing to sell despite our agreements ( Nothing in writing ). I just received a letter from my solicitor saying that no co-ownership agreement was in place. I can't make contact with her for a few days, can anyone please fill me in and let me know what sort of trouble this means for me.

Thanks.

Just as a side note i remember very clearly the solicitor we used when signing for the property asking us about what we would want to happen in the event one of us died and giving us something to sign. she was a bit emarrassed asking, thats why i remember.

I won't be able to speak to her till next week, she's away. I was hoping someone here might shed a bit of light on it for me. Its caused me enough worry already. Now to have this hanging there too, does it make it worse for me or is it a lucky break?
