Nissan Primera Noise

Hi ,

I have an 04 Primera and in the past week or so i have noticed a strange noise which seems to be coming from the left hand side of the car

The only way i can describe it is when changing down gears quickly , a popping noise or plunger like noise (sounds mad i know ) coming from the car.
I dont know if its related but also on the left hand side there is a lot of squeaking or rattling on the corner inside the car.

Am i going mad or does anyone have any clues before i go to a garage for it to be checked out
Recently had a new clutch installed in the car..possible link ?

Poss the rubber boot on the slave cylinder was moved on top of the box, I had that twice before on cars after clutch's were replaced.

Cheers Mr 2 for the reply, cheap enough to fix do you reckon ?

you should bring the car back to where you got the clutch replaced to let them have a quick check of the area they were working it may not be a fault of theirs but its prob the first step you should take
