Is it possible for someone to tell me if there is any sites where I can download an NIE application form giving the english version besides the spanish wording so I know what to put on the form as far as information goes,
Kind Regards
Mazoka.
When you ask questions here on AAM perhaps you could explain the terms you use and the context you are using them in. For instance your first post refers to an escritura which promped me to post the following question What is Escritura? (Spanish property purchace process).
The NIE the OP refers to is the Numero Identidad Extranjero, ID number for foreign residents in Spain. I obtained one recently which is why the question rang a bell.
There is no English version of the form as far as I know, since it is used by the Spanish police to issue your number, it wouldn't make much sense to have it in a language other than Spanish .
Anyway here is a link to the form : [broken link removed]
If you're applying via a Spanish consulate I'm sure the staff could help you fill it out; if you're applying via a police station in Spain then how about bringing the form to your local English language school and I'm sure you'd find someone there who could help you. Here is a English page from the Spanish consulate in London, it tells you what other documentation you will need: http://www.conspalon.org/legaleng.html
Any lawyer's office in Spain will do the application for you; they just need a notarised copy of your passport and a few details. Most charge a small fee, some don't charge at all if you are doing a reasonable amount of business with them. Saves all the hassle of going to police station, spending time in a queue etc.
