Nice hotel for one for couple of nights?

Hi
My husband is off to a conference abroad and I've promised myself a relaxing couple of nights in a hotel (fond of my own company!).

Somewhere within an hour or so of Dublin with a nice spa attached, not too small cos I like the anonymity of a big hotels, but where I'd feel safe being on my own and all.

Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to go for a proper spa - just a nice change of scene!

You could try this hotel in Bunclody. It has a lovely spa, reasonably good restaurant and the last time I was looking had some good special offers.
Not too far of a drive from Dublin.

Radisson in either Cavan or Dundalk....day trip to Newry and get all those bargains that Dublin traders deny you.

the Radisson in Cavan is lovely, set on a lovely old estate but modernised beautifully. The spa is fab....you'll easily pass a few days here.
bty - ESB have some special offer going if you pay by Direct Debit but not sure of the contact details, but if you give them a call (think it's based on 2 people.

Lyrath House, just outside Kilkenny... which is a good city for socialising too, just 80 miles from Dublin.
