Nice - February

I am planning on travelling to Nice for a few days in February next. I will be travelling on my own. Can anyone recommend a hotel that is good value. I am an OLP but quite active!

This one is very well located, clean and quiet.
Ive stayed there a few times.
Its relatively cheap also.
If you want something small and quaint and very cheap try the hotel Rex.

Have a look at Le Royal. Its location is great, right on the Promenade and it seems to cater for more mature guests.
I have never stayed there, so cant vouch for their rooms. But their front garden overlooking the sea is lovely for a drink, and it would not be uncommon to see people on their own.

Hello OldDoll,

I stayed in this Best Western hotel in Nice and found it to be a very good standard, in a good central & quiet location and very reasonably priced.

Tripadvisor readers have voted it as hotel number 17 out of 215 hotels in Nice, so that it ranks high enough. You can see the reviews on here.



Looking on booking.com, it is priced about 70 euro per night next February.

I love Nice! Another suggestion would be the Mercure hotel, which is in the city center.
