Has anyone installed or compared the following heat pump for geothermal: NIBE Fighter 1240 12kW Combi Unit c/w in-built 160Litre Hot Water Cylinder
My main concern is the installed cartridge heater which is automatically activated at
higher energy demand. Would this be on quite alot and if so what would the associated costs be. He was saying that i could link it to night saver electricity as the temp had to increase to 85 degrees every two weeks to kill off any legionaires bacteria and alot of prople would put in on every night to boost the water temp.
Do all heat pumps work on this principle?
