Nib - investment home loan rate

Can any body advise when NIB introduced the concept of an "investment Home Loan Rate" applicable to investment properties

that thread made for unbelievable reading, mad to think banks would get away with being able to try fool people like that. It was a very good thread with great personal experience and advice from the posters, well done to all.

If you were affected by this I would encourage to raise the issue with the ombudsman. It appears that all the challenges are successful but the ombudsman can't make a general recommendation to reverse the decision as all the cases are different.

Also if you don't want to put your details on a public forum feel free to PM any of the successful members.

I got great help by PM regarding the arguments to make with my submission etc.

Also if successful you will get a refund on the overpayment and the interest paid.
