New Zealand work permit what is needed?

Hi
My daughter is in Australia on a 1 year visa and it will run out in 6 weeks. She would like to go to New Z for a further 6 months what is required to get a work permit and will it be easy to do from Australia. She does not have much money in her bank account does anyone know how much they will ask her to have
