In the last week or so I read about a website that caters for short term rentals in New York. Now of course when I want it I can't find it. Can anyone help me out. I have searched the forum already but no luck.

Unfortunately I've never stayed in apartments while in NYC, but this place does come recommended by Rough Guides (I've always found their reviews spot on)

In desperation, I was looking into renting an apartment for 2 nights in NYC Christmas 2005 cos the hotel prices were through the roof. Some of the apartments I looked at seemed very reasonable until I spotted that you would be sharing with the existing resident!
So check out small print carefully.

www.manhattanlodgings.com. Used it a couple of times, a whole range of different apts in dofferent areas. Communication with the website was brilliant.
