New UTV broadband

Connected my modem to UTV broadband last night . Used it this afternoon but this evening,the connection was gone . The green 'internet' light on the router was off. Reconnected through the 'Voyager' web address - surely I shouldn't have to do this - what should I be doing instead???
 
Another problem.........since I got broadband my out-going e-mails won't send. I keep getting an error message that the recipients are rejected by the server....Any ideas??
 
What sort of email address? What sort of link (e.g. dial-up?) with what ISP were you using before? If the email address is something like, say, @eircom.net or @<some-other-isp>.ie etc. then they may only work for sending on that ISP's link.
 
My e-mail address is @eircom.net and I am using my UTV Broadband.Had no problems with e-mails when using UTV dial-up and still have no problems with in-coming mail.....
