Spammers post messages with links in them. These links can be dangerous. They also damage the reputation of askaboutmoney.
For that reason we do not allow new users to put working links in messages.
When you become an established poster, you can post links.
An established poster must have at least 10 messages and be registered for 30 days.
1) If you have 20 posts in 10 days, you are still a new user.
2) If you have 3 posts in 20 years, you are still a new user.
There are some other anti-spam restrictions on new users e.g. you can't send private messages, although you can receive them, and reply to messages.
