New Residence Car Insurance

I have immigrated from South Africa and converted my drivers license to an Irish one. I cannot seem to find any insurance companies that will quote me based on the fact that I have been resident less than 2 years.

I have 9 years driving experience with no claims. (Unfortunately I neglected to get a cert before I close my insurance accounts in SA in 2009).

Does anyone know of the best places to start looking for cover?

Try FBD - online search will get you the number - I find they ask for less details when quoting compared to other companies. Also usually competitive.
