Can anyone recommend somewhere that I could buy a decent refurbished phone in dublin - samsung or apple, not too fussed. Budget around 300 - 350. Im not hugely into Tech, just need a new phone.
I like having a good camera, decent battery and storage.
I know theres lots of shops around abbey/talbot street and other places but not sure wheres best to go.
How new of a phone are you looking for? I also buy new from Samsung direct, great service and even better, great after service. For that budget you could get this phone new, seems decent storage and camera.
refurbished phones, tablets, laptops and more from brands including apple, with an extendable 12-month warranty. Up to 40% cheaper vs new and more sustainable.
I've found Adverts good for picking up second hand phones in perfect condition for reasonable money
I picked up a 1 year old Sony Xperia 1 in perfect condition RRP€1250 for €220 in late 2020
There can be a few time wasters on there but sometimes good deals do appear
Cex is also a good spot for second hand stuff but their prices aren't the cheapest but they now come with a 5 year warranty
Plus 1 for adverts, buy new, used phones are problematic.
Samsung A53 is a pretty solid phone, I use one and ticks all boxes for me at any rate.
Watch the positive feedback, it tells you everything you need to know to buy with confidence, those that have 100s are solid people/sellers.
@Persia plus one for the A53, I have mine since they were release in 2022.
It has been hopped off the floor daily and even did a 3 minute spin in the washing machine until I could hit the cancel and drain button!! I am considering replacing the battery with Fonfix they are the fix company Samsung use rather than replace the phone as it still is perfect.
