Hi folks,
New to the forum so a big hello firstly! Just looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help.
In my current job my monthly wages aren't great (prob would make as much on the dole doing nothing). I started studying for my QFA exams recently and am due to sit my first shortly however an opportunity has come up with Acorn Financial.
Basically it is as a Trainee Financial Advisor (commission only role). they provide training and you are paid a wage for the first 12 weeks (more than I currently earn) then u move onto a commission only role being mentored by a manager etc. They also will pay any fees to continue my QFA exams.
Just wondering if anyone has taken up a similar role? Or has dealing with Acorn recently? Just afraid I might be getting mixed up with something that is ripping people off or that?
Any feedback would be appreciated. First interview went well and going back shortly for second and to chat about the first people I would approach.
