Just to advise that the Revenue have introduced new mileage rates effective from July 2006. Can't understand how they can justify reducing the rates when prices of fuel have increased substantially. ie Rates per mile as at 01st July 2005 were 1.24 for 1.5ltr+ first 4,000miles compared to 0.78now! Petrol in July 2005 was ~1.00p/ltr where as it is now ~1.20p/ltr.
