I will shortly be finished paying my mortgage but I am thinking of building on extension to house .Would I be better off to clear my loan in full and get new loan or get an extension of my present one .thanks
Seek planning permission! Then shop around for the best interest rate. If you cant get a better rate. Pay off your mortgage first.
If you can - then remortgage!
