New LCD advice needed

Hi,

I am hoping to buy a new lcd tv in the next week or two. I have decided on a sony bravia. Have been looking around and am torn between the various models. Was looking at the 32v2500 for €999 or the 32p2530 for €819. Also the 32s2530 for €999. Does anyone have any experience of these models. I won't be playing ps3 or anything. Just for sky and dvd's but may upgrade to HD in the future.

Can't make up my mind........
 
I have the older Sony wega 32". The picture quality with HD is fantastic.
It's like looking out a window when your only three feet away from it.
I Dont thinh you can go any of the new modles.

Just ordered the KDL32V2500 Bravia. Should have it in the next couple of days.
 
I purchased a Toshiba 32" LCD recently for €100 less than the KDL32V2500 and I must say it is superior in every way (even picture quality on SD sources is excellent). When you buy bravia, you will pay more for all that advertising and marketing but they are by no means superior to models from other well known manufacturers.
Dearer does not always mean better!
 
Thing I like about Sony is that of all the years I have bought them NONE have ever broken down. That's worth the extra few bob for me.
