New House (Timber Frame) Room Change

Hi Guys

Looking a new 4 Bed Semi. House is great expect for the En-Suite. They have two En-suites back to back and i would like to knock it in to one. The house is Timber frame. Is this a large job, i understand it could be a supporting wall. When i asked the Builder he said " I am no doing it" and then asked how much it would cost and he said " Don't know" !

Hi , if the wall is not supporting then it will not be a problem to take out. if it is supporting the i would suggest revmoving about 2/3rds of the wall about a double door size hole while having it proped up. then fitting 3, 4x2 nailed together to act as a lintel to support the weight when props are removed.
