New Employment contract

I work for a US company - recently there was a restructure and my role was made redundant. I was offered a new role on the same salary and benefits. The role however is contingent on delivering sales targets during the year and may be redundant in December if the targets are not met.

Question is - my company wants to put the sales targets into a contract and I believe they should be managed via performance management processes.

Do I have to sign any new contract since it is only my title that has changed....all benefits remain the same....

Confused....

I would think so, otherwise if you don't sign, you qualify for redundancy
