New dump at Ballyfeard, carrigaline

Has anyone else heard this news about a new dump being located at ballyfeard in a area called boardee, 4 miles outside carrigaline on the old road to kinsale?

Yes - I have heard about it. I believe its mid way between Carrigaline and Ballyfeard but there are quite a few residents around there who are objecting. Poor access roads for lorries etc and residents should prevent it from happening I suspect. I also suspect teagasc or other environmental groups may have something to say about it.

Theres no dump opening anywhere in County Cork bar the one in Bottlehill. And that will be the only one in Cork, resulting in the closure of the Kinsale road in the City and Youghal.
