Hello
I had the misfortune of taking this new route (replacing the good old 92) from Heuston to City Centre and back today and what a mess it was.
Firstly, the bus driver on the city-bound route didn't have a notion of which stops he was to stop at with the consequence that he missed the stop on College Green, making everyone have to go half way down Nassau Street before being able to get off.
Also, at D'Olier Street there must have been 30 people trying to get on the bus whereas previously it was only a drop-off stop. Consequently this increased the time it took to get to destination.
Then on the Heuston bound journey there was to be a new stop on Westmoreland Street, replacing the Aston Quay stop. The route was not signed on any of the stops so it was a case of taking your chances at one of the 4 stops and hoping it was the correct one.
A bit of forward planning by Dublin Bus wouldn't have gone astray on this one... hopefully tomorrow's adventure works out a bit better!
