It's not very active yet, but maybe a few AAM contributors might add their experiences. I have to say their specific motivation for setting up the site is interesting:

This was the reason we set up Bankwatch.ie as we had the experience of a delay in the clearance of bank draft cheque. This was a mystery to us in this Electronic Age. Why it should take four days was never really explained to us. The bank charged us a fee for those four days. We were not happy, we can assure you. We had no open and transparent non-vested forum to air this greviance. So we set up this site.

A representative from the site was on NewsTalk 106's Down To Business show this afternoon. Interestingly she said that they contacted IFSRA when they decided to set up the site and IFSRA never bothered to respond. Good to see that it's another free Irish consumer/personal finance platform. The name seems a little misleading given that the spokesperson said that they were interested in feedback on all sorts of financial institutions and intermediaries and not just banks.
