I am thinking of trading in the my small car for something like the Qashqai. I have never ever wanted to buy a brand new car because of the depreciation and my obsession with scratches if it is a new car. But was wondering with the scappage allowance on at the moment, would it be better to buy a new car. Used Qashqais only go as far back as 2007 at about €16k average. What do you guys think?
Also, if a Nissan website says that the new car costs €22k, scrappage is worth €4k, what are the other costs that I would have to pay on top of the €22k minus €4k? Just want to be able to compare net costs between buying a new car and a used one.
