I am looking at starting my own business. I will be statrting on my own with another person working with me in the near future.

The question I have is:
If I charge €400 for a job to a customer then how much will have to pay in tax on this amount?

You will have to consider many things - inclusing wheter you need to register for VAT.

Income tax is payable based on your annual income, less tax credits, so you need to know how many "jobs" you will do in a year, and calculate your gross income, and then the tax liability on that.

You should really look to getting professional advice, and perhaps drawing up a business plan.
