New Broadband user

Hi all,

Considering getting broadband as I am fed up of dial up. Wondering what package to go for?

Whats the best package? I wouldnt mind channging my calls to the provider aswell if they are cheaper but want to keep my current number.

Am currently using eircom for calls and Esat no limits for dial up internet.

Wont be downloading much music maybe some movie clips and that but want it mainly for speed

I assume 2MB per second download speed is good? Any experience with Digweb?

Also 20GB limit. Is this per month?

This should be more than enough for most people

This would be per month and again should be more than enough unless you plan to download a lot of big files

Not sure if my computer is up to it though. Was bought new in 2000. 2gb hard drive not sure of processor speed?

The harddrive shouldn't make much difference to you getting broadband, expect to make sure you have enough space for any downloads. You sure it's only 2gb? Sounds very low, even for a PC bought in 2000. I would have thought you should at least have 40gb.
