New Blackberry - doesn't copy all SIM contacts

I have just upgraded from a 7290 to an 8800 blackberry but when I copied my simcard contacts in, it only copied across phone numbers that were there when I had the mobile phone before my 7290 - ie any contacts, email addresses put on since I got the 7290 (about 20 months ago) have disappeared. It works fine when i put the sim card back in the 7290 but not in the 8800 - any ideas? Thanks.

I'd say any new contacts you had put in were saved to the blackberry itself and not onto the sim card. Just go to your options, transfer all contacts to your sim card and then insert sim card into new blackberry. Should Work.
