New Aldi development in Clonsilla

Hi there

Does anyone know whether or not the new Aldi development and blocks of apartments were granted planning permission?
I would imagine that this will create a lot more traffic in the area.
We are thinking of buying around there and this might put us off, especially with traffic from blocks of apartments.

I don’t think it has been granted permission yet, there are a lot of objections due to the traffic and the height of the development.

That's what was putting me off a bit, the fact that there'll be four and five storey high blocks of apartments. It seems quite high when the rest of the village is low rise.

I think they were knocked back because of the proposed density and the application is now under appeal.
