Hi,
During the budget the minister mentioned that mortgage interest relief will be increased to 25% for new and recent purchases. Does anybody know
a. when this takes effect
b. if the maximum amount you can receive is being increased
c. how far back this is being backdated
Also, this mortgage interest relief only lasts for 7 years. Has this always been the case?? I was under the impression it lasted for the lifetime of the mortgage.
