Net curtain alternative

It's for a victorian house. I would like to obscure the view from passersby without blocking too much light from the house. I would like to find an alternative to the traditional net curtains for privacy.

You could try some of the blind shops around. There is one I seen in a few different towns, I think their called Acme Blinds.
