Looking for advice on my current situation.
Bought house = 10 years ago
100% mortgage - I know stupid decision
Term Left on loan = 25 years
Bought for = 282,000
Left = 230,000
Value = 180,000
Bank = ptsb
Tracker mortgage
Current savings = 6k
Shares due in 2 years = approx 30k
Combined salaries = 114,500
Bought the house with my brother just to get the mortgage at the time. He never lived there but did contribute to the mortgage for a few years - very good brother. Have agreed on a figure of 15k to pay him back and have given him 4K so far. Has agreed to then be taken off the mortgage.
I got married last year and we would like to trade up and are planning how we can do this.
Any advice on the ptsb mover mortgage they are running?
