I am just wondering, since its a few months on now since the BOI announced their Negative Equity mortgage package, has anyone got one yet?
We are in a position where we need to avail of the package.
We are both working, currently have a tracker with BOI, Neg equity of about €140k also have a lump sum and need to trade up our apartment as our family is outgrowing it. We have never missed a payment on our mortgage. Currently we also overpay each month and its taken off the principal.
So Im just wondering if anyone out there has approached the BOI about the package. Are they really offering them and are they making people jump through hoops to get them? Any tips out there in dealing with the banks???
And yes, I will contact the BOI and get the info off them. Just looking for some first hand experiences if there are any out there!
