Hi, I have a booking for 4 people on a return flight to Lanzarote with Aer Lingus next week. Now it turns out that 2 people cannot go (no bereavement or illness, just bad planning). I 've done various web searches but got conflicting information. Essentially what I want to know is, is there any way I can not loose all of my money (580 in total for adult and 2yr old with both having a bag each way)? I have to travel to London in April and need to book flights for this but will they allow me to cancel the Lanzarote flight and book the London flight thereby clawing back at least some of my money? I know I signed up to the conditions of a non-refundable flight so not quibbling with this I just want to know if there any way I can minimise my losses. And I know I can apply for taxes back but they charge 20 per person each way to do this (80 in total) so hardly worthwhile. Any information much appreciated.
