I don't quite understand the question, is your spouse being taxed twice or something?
From reading your post it would appear that your wife is subject UK Tax on her salary and you are subject to Irish Income Tax on your salary, once your wife is claiming all the correct credits then there shouldn't be any problem.
As to the credits for your child, there isn't really anything your entitled to claim.... You wouldn't be entitled to the home carers credit....
Looks like you have a case of paying tax correctly!!
Ways you could reduce your tax assuming you personally have considerable income at 41% tax are as follows: BES. Film Scheme, Max out pension contributions.
You could also look at buying allowances....
Seek professional help but everything sounds like it's in order.
