Need Project Manager and Architect?

Hoping to get keys to an 60 year old four bed semi D shortly. Would love to extend and do lots of stuff however money is limited. In the meantime, we need to re-wire, insulate, new windows and doors, knock non-supporting walls between WC and bathroom and kitchen and dining room, new bathroom and kitchen etc.. plus possibly put in a utility room and toilet off the kitchen.

My question is would an architect properly project manage this job? Obviously the utility/toilet needs architectural work, however given the rest are small refurbishments, would they be best? Or should we also have a Project Manager? Obviously trying to get the best result at a reasonable price. Thanks.
