Need help to sequence photos for a slideshow

Hi

Have over 100 photos that I need to burn onto a DVD to create a slideshow for DVD player. The task it self is straightforward obviously but it is essential that they are burned/play in a certain sequence.

Not sure how I can do this - I tried renaming them 1, 2, 3...but of course when I sort according to name it then groups all the 1s and 2s together: 1, 11, 12 & 2, 21, 22 etc.

Short of renaming them aa, ab, ac...etc is there anything I can do?

You could name them 0001, 0002 etc using 0s to pad them to four digits. This should get them to display in the correct order.

Thanks - yeah, that makes more sense - I might try that instead.
