Need a car short-term, any options? (lease, hire purchase etc?)

Hi folks,

I found myself in a difficult situation and need to get a second car for the next 3-6 months. At the moment I'm looking at spending a couple of thousand on a car, with a possibility of not being able to sell it later on.

What I'd like to know is if there are any car leasing companies out there that deal with individuals and lease out their cars on a short-term basis?

Or if anyone has any other suggestions, any help would be most appreciated!
 
hey if you have money to but one with why not buy a decent one i.e 02 -03 depending on how much you travel and that will choose what kind of car you need
 
Pick up a decent yoke for a few hundred.

Auctions would do the job nicely.
 
Why not try a Long Term Car rental from any of the car rental companies?
You do need to call them to get a rate - but it may be more convenient than buying, taxing, maintaining, insuring and NCT'ing a cheap car.
