nct lights failed

I imported a left hand drive and went to the nct only to fail because of the lights - - -so i got beam benders and had them fitted by a mechanic-- - but it doesnt look right, the stickers dont look like they are fitted on the same place on each headlamp- - allthough the beam is straight (legal requirement)

i have a retest next week, does anybody know if the fact that the benders are not aligned is a problem, anybody had the same problem ?
 
I drive R/H drive vehicles in Europe a bit and can confirm that beam-benders / blockers are not placed symmetrically on the head-light lenses.
 
thanks for that - - -i have not seen one foreign car registered in irl with beam benders fitted...they probably fit them to pass the nct and take them off ...
